RB Overview
Role Security: High
04/27/25- - D'Andre Swift led the Bears in 2024 with 253 carries, 52 targets and a 52% red zone share. He should retain that role headed into 2025. Although drafted in the 6th round of this year's draft, Kyle Monangui should battle with Roschon Johnson for change-of-pace duties. Johnson has been on of the least efficient RBs in the NFL the last two years, so Monangui could have the edge. Travis Homer is likely to see most of his snaps on special teams.
WR Overview
04/27/25- DJ Moore led the Bears with 140 targets last year, and should remain the No. 1 WR. Last year's first-round draft pick Rome Odunze should be the clear No. 2 WR after seeing 101 targets as a rookie. Free agent signee Olamide Zaccheaus and second-round draft pick Luther Burden will compete for the primary slot role, but Burden should have a massive edge based on potential talent and draft capital. Devin Duvernay and Tyler Scott will compete for depth roles.
TE Overview
04/27/25- After using the No. 10 pick in this year's draft on Colston Loveland, the rookie should have a role as the No. 1 receiving TE. Cole Kmet will likely have to settle for the No. 2 role after being a productive pass catcher for years.
