Atlanta Falcons RB Roles
Team: Atlanta Falcons
Last Update:   4/27/2025
RB Overview
Role Security: Very High
04/27/25- Bijan Robinson had 304 carries, 72 targets and a 65% red zone share in 2024. He'll remain the No. 1 RB and should have a similar workload. Tyler Allgeier should remain the No. 2 RB after rushing 137 times with 13 targets and a 28% red zone rate in 2024. Carlos Washington and other will battle for depth roles.
WR Overview
04/27/25- Drake London led the Falcons with 158 targets last year, and he should remain the primary WR. As the No. 2 WR, Darnell Mooney had 106 targets, but his chances were scaled back when Michael Penix took over at QB. Mooney will still be the No. 2, but it may be wise to expect a slight reduction from last year's targets. Ray-Ray McCloud played nearly a full-time role as the No. 3 WR, resulting in 87 targets. He will have a chance to continue in that role in 2025, but the team may not pass as much as last year with Penix at QB. Khadarel Hodge could push to cut into McCloud's work, but that won't be determined until training camp. Chris Blair, Jamal Agnew and others will compete for depth roles.
TE Overview
04/27/25- Kyle Pitts is the lead TE after seeing 74 targets in 2024, which was the fewest of his career on a per-game basis. Charlie Woerner will see occasional targets as the No. 2 TE.
