RB Overview
Role Security: Very High
04/28/25- Christian McCaffrey is expected to resume his role as the centerpiece of the 49ers offense and should see all the work he can handle. Isaac Guerendo and fifth-round rookie Jordan James will likely compete for the No. 2 and No. 3 roles.
WR Overview
04/28/25- It is unclear if Brandon Aiyuk (knee) will be ready for the season, but if he returns to full health, he'll be the No. 1 WR. Jauan Jennings and Ricky Pearsall will be the No. 2 and No. 3 WRs unless Aiyuk is not ready for the season. In that case, Jennings and Pearsall would become the top-two options. Demarcus Robinson and fourth-round rookie Jordan Watkins will compete for the No.4 and No. 5 roles.
TE Overview
04/28/25- George Kittle is the lead TE after averaging 90 targets over the last four seasons. Luke Farrell will likely be relegated to blocking duty.
