Seattle Seahawks RB Roles
Team: Seattle Seahawks
Last Update:   4/28/2025
RB Overview
Role Security: High
04/28/25- Kenneth Walker is the lead RB, though he has yet to reach 230 rushing attempts in any of his three seasons. Walker had a career-high 53 targets, so his receiving role may remain higher than it was earlier in his career. Zach Charbonnet is the change-of-pace runner who will see work each week, but if Walker misses time, Charbonnet has shown the ability to be a full-time RB. Seventh-round rookie Damien Martinez and Kenny McIntosh will compete for the No. 3 and No. 4 roles.
WR Overview
04/28/25- Jaxon Smith-Njigba is the No. 1 WR after seeing 7.5 targets per game from Week 12 on last year. With DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett no longer with the team, Smith-Njigba could see an increase in targets. Cooper Kupp will be the No. 2 WR and should see consistent targets each week. Marquez Valdes-Scantling and fifth-round rookie Tory Horton will compete for the No.3 and No. 4 roles.
TE Overview
04/28/25- Noah Fant was the No. 1 TE last year, but after the Seahawks drafted Elijah Arroyo in the second round of this year's draft, Arroyo will likely get every chance to be the top pass catching TE during training camp.
