RB Overview
Role Security: Low
04/27/25- Anything can happen in this backfield. Travis Etienne was the lead RB last year, but he didn't see much more work than Tank Bigsby. With Etienne in the last year of his deal, his hold on the lead role is tenuous at best. Tank Bigsby has a good chance of seeing much of the early down work as one of the only physical RBs in this backfield. The Jaguars used a 4th round pick in this year's draft on Bhayshul Tuten. If the rookie can improve in pass protection, he may carve out a receiving role, but he has a good chance of winning change-of-pace duties. Keilan Robinson and LeQuint Allen will compete for roles in the RB rotation.
WR Overview
04/27/25- Brian Thomas is the No. 1 WR and was being targeted an average of 10.5 times from Week 11 on and could retain that type of role in 2025. Jacksonville used the No, 2 pick in the draft to select Travis Hunter, who is expected to focus on WR while being mixed in at CB. Hunter should easily win the No. 2 WR role. Dyami Brown, Gabe Davis and Parker Washington are likely to compete for the No. 3 role during camp.
TE Overview
12/29/24- Brenton Strange took over the starting TE role in Week 15 last year, and he averaged 5 targets- he should be locked into the No. 1 role again in 2025.
