Injury Knee
Est. Return 9/27/2025
2025 Fantasy Outlook
Pino recovered the regular starting role he had in 2021/22 and 2022/23 after missing most of the 2023/24 campaign with a knee injury. He logged 25 starts in 2024/25 as a consistent playmaker on the right side of midfield in a 4-4-2 approach. Pino recorded a career-high seven assists while adding four goals, and he figures to remain one of the key playmaking threats for Villarreal in 2025/26. Pino is an attacker by nature but plays in midfield due to a tactical reasoning. Despite a return to the norm, he still didn't surpass 2,000 minutes in league play last season, and if he can add to that, there's a chance for an even bigger campaign ahead.

Set for scans Sunday
Pino suffered a knee injury in Saturday's win over West Ham and will undergo scans to determine the severity of the injury, manager Oliver Glasner told Bobby Manzi of The News Hopper in the post-match press conference. "He had pain in his knee. We don't know exactly what it is, so we will assess him tomorrow, and I think he will have a scan. Hopefully, it's not too serious, but he couldn't continue playing."
ANALYSIS
Pino had to leave the game during the HT break and was replaced by Justin Devenny, who could take his place in the XI when the Eagles take on Liverpool next Saturday, Sep. 27. Pino has six shots and two chances created in three EPL appearances (two starts) so far.
