Returns to Pachuca
Lopez has rejoined Pachuca after his time in Expansion MX club Leones Negros, the team announced Thursday.
ANALYSIS
Lopez will head back to the Hidalguense squad at least for the Clausura 2026 tournament to add right-back depth after the confirmation of Alan Mozo's (fracture) long term injury. Lopez previously made 10 first-division appearances, racking up three shots, 31 crosses, 19 tackles and seven interceptions over that span. He's expected to be in contention for minutes as Carlos Sanchez's substitute while Mozo is sidelined.
