Mozo will undergo conservative treatment after suffering a fibula fracture and is expected to be unavailable for 3-4 months, Pachuca's doctor Fernando Marquez confirmed Wednesday.

Mozo was recently loaned to Pachuca from Guadalajara for all of 2026 and was intended to serve as the starting right-back throughout the Clausura season, but his participation lasted three games until he sustained the injury against Queretaro. During that period, he recorded four chances created, four crosses, eight tackles and five clearances. Carlos Sanchez is now the obvious choice to take his place in the lineup, with the versatile Jorge Berlanga possibly considered as well at some point.
