2025 Fantasy Outlook
Maddison's story last season was similar to many other Tottenham players, as he was hampered by injuries. He finished with 16 goal contributions despite playing the fewest minutes he's played in a Premier League campaign, just 1,816. If he can stay fit, he could play a key role in Thomas Frank's system as the creator in the center of the pitch, connecting the defense to the offense. If things go well and he's healthy for 30-plus matches, it wouldn't be surprising if he surpassed 20 goal involvements, similar to his peak at Leicester City.

Could play again soon
Maddison (knee) is feeling a lot better and could potentially see some minutes against Arsenal in a pre-season friendly on Thursday, coach Thomas Frank said in a press conference. "Madders is looking better and better, could also be too early for Arsenal, again, we'll see."
ANALYSIS
Maddison is very close to returning to the pitch as he is in the final stages of rehabilitation from his season-ending knee injury. The playmaker is feeling much better, and after being part of the squad that traveled to the Asia Tour, he could see some minutes Thursday. If all goes well, that puts him on track to be available for the Aug. 16 opener against Burnley.
