Brian Campbell

32-Year-Old Golfer
2026 Fantasy Outlook
Campbell's ascention this past year came out of nowhere. He didn't reach the PGA Tour until the age of 31 and his rookie season was a bust as he failed to crack the top 150 on the money list. One thing about this game, however, is that one bad year can be wiped out with one or two good weeks. Heck, 51 bad weeks can be wiped out with one good week. In Campbell's case, he had two good weeks this past season and each resulted in a win. Those wins vaulted him over the $3 million mark in earnings and landed him in the top 50, which will open many doors this season. That's the good news. The bad news is outside of those two wins his season was pretty lousy. That's the beauty of golf, you don't need to be good every week, just be great every once in a while. While that formula made for a great season for Campbell, it makes for a terrible salary cap play. Expect Campbell to come back to Earth this season. Read Past Outlooks

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2025
2016
Earning PGA Tour status for the first time since 2016-17, Campbell secured runner-up honors on three separate occasions during his 2024 Korn Ferry Tour campaign to ultimately finish seventh on the Points List. He missed only four cuts throughout 25 starts, and he ranked top-5 on the KFT in driving acccuracy, scrambling and total birdies. Campbell also made the cut at the U.S. Open in June, tying for 56th at Pinehurst where he gained 3.8 strokes with his short game.
Campbell had two second-place finishes in a three-tournament span, the BMW Charity Pro-Am and Nashville Golf Open, and added three other top-10 finishes to clinch a spot on the PGA Tour. He had an interesting stats dichotomy – 75th in greens hit yet eighth in putting average — and, not surprisingly, was fairly high (36th) in scrambling. He must hit more greens.
