Tyler Scott

24-Year-Old Wide ReceiverWR
2025 Fantasy Outlook
Scott had one catch for five yards in 2024 and never played more than four offensive snaps in a game. He's buried on the WR depth chart after Chicago added Luther Burden and Olamide Zaccheaus this offseason. A speedster with fourth-round pedigree, Scott could carve out a future role, but he's off the fantasy radar for the time being. Until the Bears clear targets at wide receiver, he has no path to meaningful production or relevance. Read Past Outlooks

January 26, 2026
The Rams signed Scott to a reserve/future contract Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
ANALYSIS
Scott was cut by the Bears at the end of training camp and had practice-squad stints with the Colts and Seahawks before catching on with the Rams in late October. He didn't appear in a regular-season game in 2025, but he'll be able to participate in OTAs and minicamp with the Rams during the offseason and attempt to make a good impression on the coaching staff before the start of training camp in July.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2024
2023
Scott began to play a significant number of snaps for Chicago beginning in Week 6 last year. The receiver played between 26 and 39 snaps in nine of his last 11 games. Unfortunately, Scott had very little production. Aside from a three catch for 49-yard performance, he failed to reach 20 yards in any other game. After the Bears added Rome Odunze in the draft, Scott will likely be, at best, the No. 4 receiver on the depth chart. Unless Chicago has injuries to their top receivers, it’s difficult to foresee Scott having a prominent role in the offense.
In the fourth round of the 2023 Draft, the Bears selected Scott after he put together back-to-back productive seasons at Cincinnati. His best trait is speed, which translated to 17.3 and 16.6 yards per catch in 2021 and 2022, respectively. With Chicago having WRs DJ Moore, Darnell Mooney and Chase Claypool on the roster, Scott likely will compete for depth slotting with Equanimeous St. Brown, Dante Pettis and Velus Jones. When on the field, Scott profiles as a deep threat who may be able to line up out wide or in the slot.

Learning plenty from Moore
WRChicago Bears
July 6, 2023
Scott, a rookie fourth-round pick, has been impressed with everything veteran offseason trade acquisition D.J. Moore has brought to the table thus far, Bobby Kownack of NFL.com reports. "Like he plays with such a calmness to him. Just the control to him," Scott said. "He's just playing at a different level than everybody."
ANALYSIS
Scott was a relatively productive player during his college days at Cincinnati, but he still naturally has plenty to learn after a relatively modest 29-game college career. Moore appears to be serving as a very good mentor for the rookie, who does boast 4.4 speed, early on, as the former Bearcat has been watching his most accomplished position mate closely. Scott projects to begin his career as no better than the No. 4 receiver behind the top trio of Moore, Darnell Mooney and Chase Claypool, but he could serve as enough of a vertical threat to force his way into consistent snaps.
