Dealing with MCL sprain
Campbell suffered an MCL sprain in his knee during Dallas' practice Saturday, Calvin Watkins of The Dallas Morning News reports.
ANALYSIS
The wide receiver left the session early and had to be helped off the field, per Jon Machota of The Athletic. A day later, though, Nick Harris of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reported Campbell didn't suffer a serious injury and would only miss a few days. The 2019 second-round pick of the Colts is trying to secure a spot with a new team after spending 2024 with the Eagles and 2023 with the Giants.

Campbell joined the Giants in 2023 after a breakout campaign with the Colts in 2022, but he failed to make much of an impact in New York even though he mostly remained healthy. He caught 20 passes for 104 yards and zero touchdowns, which was down from a 63-623-3 receiving line the year prior. Moreover, 16 of his 20 receptions last season came in the first five weeks, and he didn't see the field after Week 12, missing one game with a knee injury and the remainder as a healthy scratch. The sixth-year pro signed with the Eagles this offseason and will compete for the third receiver job in a much stronger offense than the one he left behind, but that role hasn't yielded much fantasy value in a unit in which A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith soak up so many targets.

Begins camp as team's WR3
Campbell worked with the first-team offense as the Eagles began training camp Wednesday, Brandon Lee Gowton of BleedingGreenNation.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Campbell picked up where he left off in minicamp, working as the team's third wide receiver behind A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith. Rookies Ainias Smith and Johnny Wilson are Campbell's top competitors for the third spot on the depth chart, but Campbell's veteran experience has him in good position to see the field consistently in three-receiver sets. Campbell is looking to bounce back from a disappointing 104-yard season with the Giants in 2023, but he had 623 receiving yards for the Colts in 2022.
