Diabate was signed as an undrafted free agent in 2023 and took on a larger role in 2024 after playing just 26 snaps on defense as a rookie. Injuries to Jordan Hicks and Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah gifted Diabate an opportunity, and he responded with 70 tackles over 13 games. Hicks is healthy and will start in the middle, and 2025 second-round pick Carson Schwesinger is expected to start on one side.
