Love has improved significantly in each of his seasons with Seattle since leaving New York. He has established himself as a near every-down player and topped 1,000 defensive snaps for the first time in 2024. Love has always had the ability to rack up tackles, but he's become a standout playmaker the last two seasons by tallying 11 combined interceptions and forced fumbles. Particularly interesting was his usage under first-year coach Mike Macdonald, who opted to use Love more as true free safety than earlier in his career. That's likely to keep Love's tackle total closer to 100 rather than rebound to the to his career marks, but Love will occupy a key role in the defense and undoubtedly remain productive. Love missed eight games with a hamstring injury earlier this season, but he was quite dependable when healthy and finished the year with 43 tackles (29 solo), seven pass breakups, 1.0 sacks and two interceptions through 11 games, including the postseason. Love is under contract through the 2027 season and will have a $12.9 million cap hit next year.

Love parlayed a breakout 2022 season into a multi-year deal with the Seahawks and posted a near identical line for the second straight campaign in 2023. Seattle did nothing this offseason to challenge his role, and in fact parted ways with both Quandre Diggs and Jamal Adams. That means Love should get the chance to work with defensive mastermind Mike Macdonald in a full-time role, putting him in line to top 100 tackles for the third consecutive season. Love is also an impactful player in coverage, as he's broken up at least five passes in three straight camapigns, giving him well-rounded productive that translates well to IDP formats.
