2025 Fantasy Outlook
Bosa links up with Buffalo after a nine-season journey with the Chargers, one marred only by injuries. The veteran defensive end was limited to five appearances in 2022 and nine in 2023. While he did suit up for 14 regular-season appearances in 2024, Bosa was limited to just 5.0 sacks in that span, a far cry from the usual double-digit totals that could once be expected of him in a mostly healthy season. Now heading into his age-30 campaign on a one-year, prove-it deal, it will be crucial for Bosa to return to full form as he joins a pass-rush rotation that also includes Greg Rousseau and A.J. Epenesa. Read Past Outlooks
Past calf injury
Bosa told reporters after Monday's practice that he has "moved on" from a calf injury that he sustained during a workout in late May, Kevin Patra of NFL.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Bosa has appeared in just 28 regular-season games over the past three years due to injury, with his calf issue being his latest setback. However, the veteran edge rusher is participating in training camp practices and will have the opportunity to build chemistry with the rest of the Bills' defensive front. Bosa's calf injury will be closely monitored during training camp, with the goal for him to be fully healthy for the Bills' regular-season opener against the Ravens on Sept. 7.

Bosa played in just nine games last season before suffering a season-ending foot injury. It's the third time in the last four years the veteran pass rusher missed at least four games, and dating back to 2016, Bosa has played 16 or more games just three times. When healthy the 28-year-old is still a premiere pass rusher and in theory should partner well with Khalil Mack in Jim Harbaugh's vaunted defensive scheme. It remains to be seen if that'll happen in actuality given the duo's propensity for nagging injuries.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Already dealing with injury
Bosa suffered a calf injury during a voluntary workout with the Bills on Tuesday and is expected to be sidelined until training camp, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Bosa joined the Bills this offseason after being released by the Chargers, at least in part due to his injury history. He has played only 28 games combined across the last three seasons, so this news is particularly alarming. If Bosa can regain his health and remain on the field, he could benefit from a deep Buffalo defensive line that would allow him to work as a rotational pass rusher rather than as an every-down option.
