Hawes joins Buffalo after having demonstrated acumen as a solid blocker in the run game during his time with Georgia Tech's rush-centric offense. The rookie fifth-rounder doesn't boast much of a pass-catching profile, but the presence of Dalton Kincaid and Dawson Knox leaves few such reps up for grabs at tight end regardless.
