2025 Fantasy Outlook
Knox has just 497 receiving yards and three touchdowns in two seasons playing alongside 2023 first-round pick Dalton Kincaid, though the gap in their production shrank in 2024, as Kincaid finished with 448 receiving yards on 75 targets to Knox’s 311 yards on 33 targets. Kincaid’s likely to keep getting the lion’s share of targets among Buffalo’s tight ends, but Knox played over 60 percent of snaps on offense in 2024 and should maintain a prominent role as the far superior blocker. Should Kincaid miss any time, that could open the door for the 28-year-old Knox to regain fantasy relevance. As the Bills’ clear No. 1 TE in 2021 and 2022, Knox averaged 552 receiving yards and 7.5 TDs per season. Read Past Outlooks
Not practicing Monday
Knox (hamstring) won't practice Monday, Maddy Glab of the Bills' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Knox was activated off the PUP list Sunday, but the tight end is still not practicing as he deals with a hamstring injury, per Sal Maiorana of the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle. Maiorana adds that Knox doesn't seem to be limping very much at this stage, suggesting that the the Bills are simply being careful to not rush the veteran tight end back.

After totaling 1,104 receiving yards and 15 touchdowns between 2021 and 2022, Knox ceded the vast majority of Buffalo’s 2023 tight end targets to rookie first-round pick Dalton Kincaid. Knox was limited to 186 receiving yards and two touchdowns across 12 appearances in 2023, though he played at least half of Buffalo’s offensive snaps in each of the first seven games before missing five weeks with a wrist injury. Kincaid stepped up in his absence, and Knox then topped a 47 percent share only once in his final seven games (including playoffs). Even with Buffalo lacking established pass catchers after losing Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis this offseason, it would likely take an injury to Kincaid for the 27-year-old Knox to regain his former prominent role. Kincaid is firmly entrenched as the team's top pass-catching tight end, coming off a 673-yard rookie season.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Set for expanded role Sunday
Knox is expected to fill a larger role during Sunday's game against the Chiefs since fellow tight end Dalton Kincaid has been ruled out due to a knee injury, Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Kincaid suffered the knee injury during the Week 10 win over the Colts, missing all but two plays in the second half. The second-year pro's absence will thrust Knox into a larger role after he logged a season-high 48 snaps versus Indianapolis in light of Kincaid missing what amounted to half the game.
