Isaac TeSlaa

23-Year-Old Wide ReceiverWR
2025 Fantasy Outlook
TeSlaa was a surprise third-round pick in April, going 70th overall after putting up just 896 receiving yards and five touchdowns in 25 games at Arkansas over the past two years. He's on the old side for his draft class, having turned 23 in February, but the Lions apparently think his raw athleticism may eventually amount to something. TeSlaa boosted his draft stock considerably at the 2025 Combine, running a 4.43 40 at 6-foot-4, 214, while ranking first among WRs in the shuttle drill (4.05 seconds), fourth in the vertical jump (39.5 inch) and sixth in the broad jump (129 inches). He then scored three touchdowns in the preseason, which seemingly played a role in the Lions trading away incumbent No. 3 receiver Tim Patrick at the end of August. It'll be tough to take routes and targets away from Amon Ra-St. Brown and Jameson Williams, but TeSlaa at least looks on track for the No. 3 gig. Read Past Outlooks

TeSlaa caught his only target for 29 yards in Sunday's 52-21 win over the Bears.
ANALYSIS
TeSlaa was expected to see an increase in workload with the offense Week 2, and he saw his offensive snap count rise from three snaps in Week 1 to 17 against Chicago on Sunday. The wide receiver once again provided a highlight reel catch, securing a leaping one-handed snag up the sideline for 29 yards to get the Lions inside the five-yard line with less than 20 seconds left in the first half. Through two games in 2025, TeSlaa has made two acrobatic catches on the two targets he's garnered, and he'll keep earning more opportunities if he continues to deliver results for Detroit. Fellow wide receiver Kalif Raymond saw his offensive snaps drop from 42 in Week 1 to 32 versus the Bears, so TeSlaa may already be challenging for the No. 3 role behind Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jameson Williams.

Year 1 breakout possible
WRDetroit Lions
August 29, 2025
Bucky Brooks of NFL.com includes TeSlaa on his list of non-first-round rookies that could make an impact in 2025.
ANALYSIS
The third-round pick was considered a bit of a surprise selection at No. 70 overall, but all TeSlaa has done so far is validate the Lions' decision. Brooks points out the 6-foot-4 wideout is already a polished route runner, and TeSlaa's 10-146-3 receiving line this preseason was generated at the expense of several defenders left in his wake by his 4.43 speed.
