2025 Fantasy Outlook
Landry signed a three-year, $43.5 million contract ($26 million fully guaranteed) with the Patriots this offseason, thus reuniting the linebacker with his former head coach Mike Vrabel. The 29-year-old is coming off a 2024 campaign in which recorded 71 tackles, including 9.0 sacks, while also adding four pass defenses over 17 regular-season games with the Titans. The Boston College product should be able to produce similar numbers while assuming a starting OLB role for New England. Read Past Outlooks
Ready to rock
Landry (foot) has no injury designation ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Steelers.
ANALYSIS
After logging consecutive limited sessions to begin the Patriots' week of practice, Landry upgraded to a full-go Friday, suggesting he's past his foot injury in time to face Pittsburgh on Sunday. The veteran edge rusher has had an incredible start to his New England tenure, recording eight total tackles, including 3.5 sacks, through two games this season. Now back at full health, he's expected wreak havoc on Aaron Rodgers and the Steelers' offensive line in Week 3.

Landry followed up his breakout 2022 season with a similar productive effort in 2023, tallying 10.5 sacks across 17 games. Since his workload peaked in 2020 (1,049 defensive snaps), the Titans have taken Landry off the field a bit more on early downs and instead allowed him to focus the majority of his energy on rushing the passer. That has the potential to hurt his tackle count, but he should continue to get to the quarterback at a strong clip.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Gets cut loose Friday
Landry, who'd been given permission to seek a trade in late February, was released by the Titans on Friday, Turon Davenport of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The move will save the Titans a total of $10.9 million in cap space if he's designated as a pre-June 1 cut and $17.5 million if Landry's release is designated as a post-June 1 move. The move certainly isn't performance-related, considering Landry led the Titans with 9.0 sacks, marking his third consecutive season with at least that amount, and played on a team-high 83.1 percent of the defensive snaps in 2024.
