Rest-of-Season Projections
2025 Fantasy Outlook
Saubert is joining his eighth team and his fifth team in five seasons. The 31-year-old tight end has never played more than 372 offensive snaps in a season, when he posted a 15-148-1 line - career bests in each category - in 2022 with the Broncos. Despite Noah Fant getting released before training camp, Saubert may not be a lock for snaps outside of obvious blocking situations after the Seahawks drafted AJ Barner and Elijah Arroyo in back-to-back years. One target in win
Saubert caught his lone target for nine yards in Sunday's 18-16 win over the Colts.
ANALYSIS
Saubert handled a 36 percent snap share even though rookie TE Elijah Arroyo (knee) is on injured reserve. With just two catches through eight games, it's clear that Saubert is considered a blocking tight end in the Seahawks' system.

Saubert was brought in to replace one of the vacant backup roles left by the offseason departures of Charlie Woerner, Ross Dwelley and Tyler Kroft. The journeyman tight end will compete with Cameron Latu and Brayden Willis for slotting rights behind starter George Kittle in 2024.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Could benefit from Fant's release
Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that Saubert could see more opportunities after the Seahawks released Noah Fant on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
AJ Barner and Elijah Arroyo are both presumed to be ahead of Saubert on the depth chart, but Saubert's edge in experience could earn him at least a rotational role since fellow veteran Fant is no longer competing for snaps. Saubert has 101 games of NFL regular-season experience, while Barner and Arroyo have only 17 combined. If nothing else, Fant's release gives Saubert a clear path to securing a roster spot.
