As the NFL season rolls on, NFL Week 2 odds and matchups are here.
RotoWire.com used ChatGPT to see what the AI tool would predict the results to be for each NFL game for Week 2 of the regular season. We ran 10 simulations for each matchup, requesting AI to produce the results with game scores for each simulation, using current rosters as of Sept. 12. We also had ChatGPT provide the margin of victory for each matchup. Here is what RotoWire.com, where the best sportsbook promo codes live, found for NFL Week 2 simulations:

Games with tight NFL betting point spreads are not always projected to be that close in our simulations. Also, every AI search might vary so results might not always pan out the same way for each user. We asked ChatGPT on Sept. 12 to project Sunday's and Monday's NFL Week 2 games.
Which Week 2 NFL Games Are Projected Splits?
In Week 2, four NFL games were projected to be split 5-5 after 10 simulations: the Philadelphia Eagles at the Kansas City Chiefs, the San Francisco 49ers at the New Orleans Saints, the Seattle Seahawks at the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Los Angeles Chargers at the Las Vegas Raiders.
One of those games might be the NFL game of the year, or at least the most anticipated one. With apologies to the Big Easy, it ain't the Saints.
The Super Bowl 59 rematch between the Eagles and the Chiefs in Kansas City has it all, for fantasy football players and regular fans alike. We have two top teams coming off close Week 1 games, more star power than perhaps any other NFL matchup, a prime late afternoon slot on FOX and perhaps even a Taylor Swift sighting.
Most of all, it's Patrick Mahomes against Jalen Hurts in a matchup of the quarterbacks who have combined to win the past three Vince Lombardi Trophies – Hurts and the Eagles denied Mahomes and the Chiefs a three-peat in February, beating Kansas City 40-22 in for the Super Bowl in New Orleans.
So it's no surprise that 10 simulations of this game turned out even. What might be surprising is the average margin of victory: The Eagles won their five games by an average of 6.6 points and the Chiefs won theirs with an average MOV of 10.6. You can use our NFL odds page to compare operators and get updated lines for this game and all others in Week 2.
Which Other NFL Week 2 Games Should Be Close?
After we ran 10 projections on each game, two came up with a 6-4 margin: The visiting Los Angeles Rams over the Tennessee Titans and the host Indianapolis Colts over the Denver Broncos. With all the hoopla surrounding the Eagles-Chiefs game, NFL news from these games might be flying under the radar.
Denver-Indy was projected to be a real see-saw affair, with the Broncos winning by an average MOV of 4.3 points and the Colts taking their six simulations at an average 7.5 MOV.
On the other end of the spectrum, the Buffalo Bills have our first clean sweep of the season, winning all 10 simulations against the New York Jets at the Meadowlands. But remarkably, all 10 were by single digits, with an average MOV of 3.1. If AI is right, the 6.5-point spread in favor of the visiting Bills at sportsbook apps might be a bit high.
Week 2 NFL Projections Q&A
Q: How did ChatGPT simulate NFL Week 2 games?
A: RotoWire ran 10 simulations for every Week 2 matchup using ChatGPT, with rosters updated as of Sept. 12, 2025. Each game produced projected scores, a winner, and a calculated average margin of victory (MOV). This allowed us to compare not only who wins most often but also how decisively they win.
Q: Which teams dominated the ChatGPT simulations?
A: The Bills were the only sweep (10-0 vs Jets), while the Ravens (9-1 vs Browns), Bengals (8-2 vs Jaguars), Lions (8-2 vs Bears), Dolphins (7-3 vs Patriots), Cardinals (7-3 vs Panthers), and Texans (7-3 vs Buccaneers) also controlled their matchups, often winning by sizeable margins.
Q: What were the closest or most balanced matchups in the simulations?
A: The 49ers-Saints, Seahawks-Steelers, Eagles-Chiefs, and Chargers-Raiders all split 5-5, with wins decided by differing margins. Rams-Titans (6-4) and Broncos-Colts (6-4) were also tight, showing very even competition across the simulations.
