2025 Fantasy Outlook
When healthy, Sabally had a fairly consistent role for the Liberty in 2024, averaging 13.5 minutes per game across 26 appearances. She showed flashes of potential, including a 14-point, 10-rebound double-double against the Sparks on Aug. 28, one of only two times she played 20-plus minutes in a game. New York lost Kayla Thornton and Courtney Vandersloot this offseason and didn't make any notable acquisitions outside of Cheyenne Parker-Tyus while other stars around the league swapped teams, leaving Sabally to operate as the primary backup to Jonquel Jones again. Sabally can contribute in fantasy if she sees 20-plus minutes, but she's not expected to have that role when everyone is healthy in 2025. Read Past Outlooks

Expected to miss at least two weeks
Sabally is expected to miss at least the next two weeks as a precaution due to knee discomfort, Madeline Kenney of the New York Post reports Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Sabally has already missed the club's last three games due to the knee issue, though the club officially labeled it as rest. Isabelle Harrison and Kennedy Burke are candidates for a slight bump in minutes due to Sabally being sidelined.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2024
2023
Sabally was selected fifth overall by the Liberty in 2022, but she missed her entire rookie campaign due to an injury. She made her WNBA debut last year for a revamped New York squad and had limited production while operating exclusively off the bench. The 24-year-old averaged 2.3 points and 2.1 rebounds in 7.9 minutes per game over 33 appearances and was an inconsistent part of the rotation, especially late in the year. While Sabally could have some streaming appeal if the Liberty deal with injuries at some point, she shouldn't be considered a viable season-long target.
