Williams brought in both targets for 61 yards and a touchdown during the Defenders' 36-18 win over the Battlehawks in the XFL Conference Championship Game on Sunday.

Williams set the pace in receiving yards on the night for DC while also bringing in Jordan Ta'amu's only touchdown pass, a 42-yard scoring grab with just over six minutes remaining in the first quarter. The Auburn product, a sixth-round pick of the Broncos in 2021, only appeared in two regular-season games for DC (Weeks 9 and 10); however, given his NFL experience and the fact he's quickly compiled 10 receptions in the three total contests he's appeared in, Williams could play a key role once again during the UFL Championship Game clash versus the Panthers on Saturday night.
