Tsygankov scored two goals and added five assists from the right wing during the 2024/25 season, a bit of a drop from the prior campaign. He was still one of Girona's most dangerous players in the final third and remains a locked-in starter and main set-piece taker. Going into 2025/26, he should benefit from another year under Michel's system and more chemistry with his teammates, with the hope to keep injuries away. If he improves his consistency in front of goal, Tsygankov could push into a double-digit season in terms of goal involvements, just like his brilliant 2023/24 season with the Catalans.

Tsygankov (leg) won't be available to face Levante on Saturday, manager Michel Sanchez told media during Friday's pre-match press conference. "Viktor [Tsygankov] will be assessed on a day-to-day basis. He's not really injured, but he's dealing with muscular discomfort. He won't play Saturday, and it's uncertain when he'll have him ready," he said.
