Pape Sarr Injury: Dealing with minor injury
Sarr didn't play against Doncaster in the EFL Cup on Wednesday since he's nursing a minor thigh injury, manager Thomas Frank told media during Thursday's press conference. "It was a minor precaution," he said. "A minor, how can you say... a little stretch to the thigh, so we didn't want to take any risks today. There is a good chance that he could be ready for Saturday."
Sarr has started in all but one of the Spurs' six EPL contests this season, as he was on the bench for the Brighton draw this past weekend. Frank's words suggest that the veteran midfielder could be ready to return to the side as soon as this weekend, though they're going to be cautious with him. Sarr has one goal and one assist in five EPL starts in 2025/26.
