Nicolas Benedetti News: Departs Mazatlan

Benedetti is leaving Mazatlan after the Apertura 2025 season, the club announced Thursday.

Benedetti joined the Canoneros in January 2023, and since then he established himself as the most impactful player on the team's attack. Despite battling multiple significant injuries, the versatile playmaker saw considerable activity towards the end of his time in the squad, which he finished with 18 goals and 14 assists across 89 Liga MX appearances. He also averaged 1.4 shots (0.5 on goal), 1.7 chances created, 4.8 crosses and 2.2 corner kicks per game over that span.
