Nico Schlotterbeck Injury: Could comeback in October

Schlotterbeck (knee) is hoping to return in October, according to Yahoo Sports.

Schlotterbeck looks to be heading for the sidelines to begin the season, with the defender still not recovered from his meniscus tear. That said, he seems to be eyeing a return in October, set to miss the start of the season, as well as some World Cup qualifying matches with Germany in September. This will be something to monitor, as the club will have to go without a starter for a bit, leaving Niklas Sule as a possible replacement, with Emre Can (groin) also doubtful to start the season.
