Marco Friedl Injury: Forced off with shoulder injury

Friedl (shoulder) was forced off injured in the 57th minute of Sunday's 4-0 defeat against Stuttgart, the club announced.

Friedl suffered an apparent shoulder injury right before the hour mark and was forced off as he couldn't carry on. The left-back will be assessed in the coming days to know the extend of the issue but if he had to miss time to recover, it would be a massive blow for Bremen since he is an undisputed starter in the backline this season. Niklas Stark would see increased playing time if the injury to Friedl proves to be a serious one.
