Marc-Andre ter Stegen Injury: Undergoes successful surgery

Ter Stegen has successfully undergone further surgery for his lower back problems, the club announced.

Ter Stegen suffered a lower back injury in recent weeks and underwent successful surgery performed by Dr. Amelie Leglise under the supervision of the club's Medical Services at Sports Clinic Bordeaux Merignac. The goalkeeper is now starting his recovery and is unavailable for selection for the time being. His recovery will determine when he will be able to join the squad again, although the club's captain isn't expected to see a starting role in 2025/26.
