Luka Romero News: Earns assist, red card in draw

Romero recorded an assist and was shown a red card during Wednesday's 2-2 draw with Queretaro.

Romero had a promising start by setting up Jose Paradela in the 14th minute but was sent off due to a violent foul later in the game. The latter event will force Romero to miss the weekend trip to Tijuana, so his next chance to play will come Oct. 4 against Tigres. He's in good form with one goal and two assists over his last two starts, but Cruz Azul have great depth and could deploy one among Mateusz Bogusz, Lorenzo Faravelli and Angel Marquez in his place.
