Franco Romero News: Assist third goal Wednesday

Romero assisted once to go with zero corners and one chance created in Wednesday's 6-2 victory over Monterrey.

Romero started in defensive midfield and had a very positive outing in Wednesday's large victory over Monterrey. He won several aerial duels and contributed four tackles, one interception and two clearances to keep his team in the game. Romero also recorded his first assist of the season, setting up Nicolas Castro's opening goal in the first half. This assist marked his first goal contribution for Toluca in 28 appearances since last season.
