Emerson News: Heads to Brazil

Emerson has transferred to Flamengo on a permanent deal from Milan.

Emerson started last season as the top option at right-back but missed the backend of the campaign due to a serious calf injury and wasn't in the club's plans anymore. He returns to his home country after a lengthy run in Europe, during which he also starred for Betis, Barcelona, and Tottenham.
