Abqar has signed a contract with Getafe until 2028, the club announced.

Abqar was a free agent after ending his five-year stay at Alaves, where he made 56 appearances over the last two seasons. The Moroccan defender will be a valuable addition to the backline under coach Jose Bordalas, likely competing for a starting role heading into the 2025/26 La Liga season.
