Bortoleto had a promising start to the weekend, reaching Q3 for the first time since the Italian Grand Prix in early September. However, he slipped down the pack after disclosing that he battled bouncing problems throughout the day. That pushed him outside of the points, his fourth consecutive race finishing outside the top 10. While Bortoleto only picked up 19 points for the season, it was still a promising rookie campaign.
