Best Bets for NFL Week 15 Games

Best Bets for Buffalo Bills at New England Patriots | Over 50.5 Points (-110)

We didn't quite get the high-scoring affair we were hoping for in the first meeting (a Patriots' 24-20 win). But if the increasing total (46.5 to 50.5) is any indication, we're in for a good old-fashioned shootout today.

Both teams have scored at least 26 points in each of their last two games, and it's particularly impressive since they've done it in the cold temperatures. There is some snow expected in the forecast, which has not been a problem for Josh Allen at all. The Bills desperately need this game, so look for Allen to have the ball in his hands most of the day; it will be tough to run against the Patriots, who allow the third-fewest rushing yards per game (89.5) in the NFL.

If the Bills hold true to that game plan, that means Drake Maye will be forced to the air. That's great news for us over bettors, considering the Patriots gain 8.8 yards per pass attempt –second-best in the NFL (by a decimal point). It certainly helps that New England has three RBs to throw at a Buffalo defense that allows the fifth-most rushing yards per game (135.2).

All in all, it's two of the best QBs in the game going head-to-head, with plenty of great skill-position players all over the field.

Best Bets for Green Bay Packers at Denver Broncos | Under 42.5 Points (-110)

I don't understand the Packers being favored in this spot, one week after taking on the Bears in a classic NFC North slugfest. Now, Green Bay is heading into one of the toughest road environments in the league to face a Denver defense allowing the third-fewest yards per game (282).

The skepticism for the Broncos' offense is warranted at this point. Sure, they hung 27 on a terrible Commanders' defense, but it feels like this unit took a hit after barely getting by in Week 9 at the Texans – and you can't fault them. I'm sure the Broncos are still seeing the ghosts of Texans' defenders from the game, but Denver hasn't looked the same since.

Green Bay's defense is legit, and I believe they'll do enough to keep this a low-scoring affair.

Best Bets for Minnesota Vikings at Dallas Cowboys | Cowboys -5.5 (-110)

It's rare that we ever see this, but it feels like the Cowboys are at their best when the pressure isn't on them. Now that the playoffs are a distant dream, I think we'll see Dallas have some fun and get a comfortable win tonight.

CeeDee Lamb was trending in the right direction at the beginning of the week, and it did help that the Cowboys had an extra three days of rest ahead of this game – that's always a plus. You know what's also a plus? Facing JJ McCarthy. Don't buy into last week's heroics that came against a Commanders' secondary that has been torched by everyone.

Look for the Cowboys to establish the run early, which will lead to the play-action game coming out to play, and boom – touchdown magic. If you're into the whole prop betting scene, I even like George Pickens to get a sympathy TD after he was sulking last week. Gotta keep those spirits up in the holiday season!
