Underwood was the nation's No. 1-ranked prospect in the 2025 recruiting class and will attempt to record a statement win for Michigan against Oklahoma's defense, led by head coach Brent Venables.
Currently, the Wolverines are +4.5 point underdogs on the point spread. Sooners transfer quarterback John Mateer lit up their non-major opponent, Illinois State, with an 81 percent completion rate, three touchdowns, and over 390 passing yards in Week 1.
The lines have moved in favor of the Sooners since opening. However, there has been a bit of a dip toward the Wolverines in the past few days, sliding back from Oklahoma -6.0 to Oklahoma -4.5.
The point total continues to plummet after opening at 47.5. Now, it's sitting down at 44.5, likely due to Venables and Michigan DC Wink Martindale's top-tier defensive units.

This game could quickly become a dogfight like the matchup we saw between Ohio State and Texas last week. Let's bet on under 44.5 total points between the Wolverines and Sooners at a slight value with -105.

We'll follow the defensive narrative for this final best bet. Factor in Underwood's inexperience playing a top defensive unit on the road at this level. Then, remember Martindale's Michigan defense has enough talent and discipline to make Oklahoma a one-dimensional offense, forcing Mateer to air it out.
