Improves to 4-1 in past five fights

May 17, 2025
Ruziboev defeated Dustin Stoltzfus via unanimous decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
This was Ruziboev's fourth UFC victory, but it was the first that he didn't win via knockout and the first in which he actually had to work for an extended period of time. He had to fight off a very deep guillotine choke from Stoltzfus in Round 1 which easily could have ended the fight. Ruziboev's power ended up being the difference in the end, however. The fact he was able to take a unanimous decision despite allowing a pair of takedowns and 5:11 worth of control time says something. Ruziboev has a ridiculous number of professional fights under his belt despite the fact he'll be just 32 years of age in November. The company should continue to push him quickly in hopes of seeing what exactly they have here.
Taking on Stoltzfus
MiddleweightUFC
March 25, 2025
Ruziboev will take on Dustin Stoltzfus in a middleweight bout at UFC Vegas 106 on May 17, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Ruziboev will look to make it two straight victories. In his last bout, he disposed of Eric McConico via right hook in the second round. That pushed his UFC record to 3-1, a very solid start within the promotion. His opponent, meanwhile, desperately needs a win, as Stoltzfus sits at 3-5 in the promotion despite winning his last bout.
Gets right back in win column

February 22, 2025
Ruziboev defeated Eric McConico via TKO (punches) at 0:33 of Round 2 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Seattle.
ANALYSIS
When we last saw Ruziboev last May, he was dropping a unanimous decision to Joaquin Buckley, which doesn't seem like a very big deal these days. He got the chance to rebound here against the debuting McConico and took full advantage. Neither man did much of anything in Round 1, but Ruziboev managed to pick up two knockdowns and the stoppage in the 33 seconds which Round 2 lasted. Ruziboev is closing in on 50 professional fights despite the fact he turned just 31 years of age last November. He improves to 3-1 with the UFC.
Fighting McConico in Seattle

February 13, 2025
Ruziboev will take on Eric McConico at UFC Seattle on February 22, per Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.
ANALYSIS
Ruziboev will be McConico's first test in UFC when they square off in Seattle. The 6-foot-5 fighter from Uzbekistan will take a height and reach advantage into the bout. With a combined professional record on 32-2 in KO/TKO and submission finishes, Ruziboev will undoubtedly be hoping for an early finish against McConico.
No longer fighting at UFC 308
MiddleweightUFC
October 19, 2024
Ruziboev withdrew from his scheduled fight against Rinat Fakhretdinov at UFC 308 on Oct. 26, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
The reason for Ruziboev's withdrawal is unknown, but he will now have to wait a little while longer for his chance to redeem himself after losing to Joaquin Buckley during his most recent fight in May. Carlos Leal will take Ruziboev's place against Fakhretdinov.
