Lee lost to Daniel Santos via unanimous decision (27-30, 27-30, 27-30) at UFC 315 on Saturday in Montreal.

To be fair, Lee deserved to win Round 1, not that it would have made a difference. Santos was the one that accepted this bout on short notice, but it was Lee who gassed badly. He defended all five of Santos' shots in the opening frame, but allowed three takedowns in each of the final two rounds. There was very little resistance, and Lee simply didn't have the energy to mount a comeback once he fell behind. The 29-year-old has now lost back-to-back fights and will likely need a victory his next time out in order to avoid a release.
