2025 Fantasy Outlook
Following a move at the trade deadline last year, Gregor evidently didn't show the Sharks enough to earn a qualifying offer from the organization that drafted him back in 2016. Instead, the 27-year-old center will have to earn his way onto the Panthers' roster in training camp by way of a professional tryout agreement. In his 52 regular-season tilts with the Senators and Sharks last year, the Alberta native managed just four goals -- all with Ottawa -- and three assists. Even if Gregor does make the team in Florida, it will likely be on a two-way deal that will allow him to move between the NHL and AHL, and he figures to be a bottom-six option when not serving as a healthy scratch in the press box. Gregor was loaned to AHL Charlotte on Monday.
ANALYSIS
Gregor has contributed one goal, two assists, 20 shots on net, seven blocked shots and 27 hits across 24 NHL appearances this season. He cleared waivers Jan. 10, and Florida had to clear a roster spot for the return of Matthew Tkachuk (groin) ahead of Monday's matchup against San Jose.

2020
Gregor recorded six goals, 12 points, 17 PIM and 147 hits in 63 regular-season contests with Toronto in 2023-24. He was used primarily in a fourth-line capacity and will likely serve in a similar role with the Senators, who inked him to a one-year, $850,000 contract over the summer. Under that kind of workload, the 26-year-old isn't likely to reach the 20-point mark, though he should at least surpass the 100-hit milestone for the third time in four years.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Practicing Monday
Gregor, who is in camp on a PTO, was on the ice for Monday's practice session, George Richards of Florida Hockey Now reports.
ANALYSIS
While Gregor was on the ice with the Panthers, fellow PTO signee Tyler Motte was not, which could be an indication that Gregor won the competition for an NHL contract. Still, the team likely will wait to see what happens with waivers Monday before finalizing a decision regarding both PTO players. If Gregor does make the Opening Night roster, he figures to slot into a fourth-line role and could spend plenty of time watching from the press box as a healthy scratch.
