2025 Fantasy Outlook
One of the lone bright spots in an otherwise disappointing season by the Bruins, Geekie enjoyed a major breakout campaign in 2024-2025. He potted 33 goals during the season, nearly doubling his previous career high of 17, including finishing the year on a six-game goal streak. The 26-year-old was the beneficiary of playing on a line with David Pastrnak, so some might tie the dramatic increase in production to that. Betting on a player to maintain a streak after such a dramatic increase, especially a relatively late bloomer at 26 like Geekie, is a risky proposition. If he plays with Pastrnak next season, he will produce again, even if it’s not quite to the level of last year. However, another 30-goal season might be a tough ask, especially since only four of his goals came on the power play last year. Read Past Outlooks
Nets pair of power-play goals
Geekie scored two power-play goals, including the game-winning tally, placed three shots on net and dished out two hits in Saturday's 4-3 win over Montreal.
ANALYSIS
Geekie played the hero in Saturday's contest with a power-play goal in the second period to tie the contest before he later scored the go-ahead tally just 12 seconds after Fraser Minten leveled the game at three apiece. Overall, the 27-year-old Geekie is up to 28 goals, 47 points, 118 shots on net and 82 hits through 51 games this season. Since a one-game absence for the birth of his son, he has six points and two multi-point efforts in six games. Dating back to Jan. 1, 2025, he is tied for third across the NHL with 53 goals.

After being limited to nine goals and 28 points across 69 regular-season contests with Seattle in 2022-23, Boston then inked Geekie to a two-year, $4 million contract, which he took advantage of by providing 17 goals, 39 points, 137 hits and 50 blocks in 76 regular-season contests with the Bruins in 2023-24. It helped that Geekie averaged 15:25 of ice time with the Bruins, up from 10:27 per game during the 2022-23 campaign with Seattle. Geekie even got an average of 1:50 with the man advantage in Boston, which led to him collecting 12 power-play points. He's set to continue to receive a middle-six role with some power-play use in 2024-25, though the signing of Elias Lindholm may result in Geekie spending most of the season on the wing instead of center. Look for Geekie to once again record 35-45 points and 125-150 hits.
