2025 Fantasy Outlook
Bourque's NHL career is off to a relatively humble beginning after he put up 25 points in 73 regular-season appearances as a rookie. He didn't play much in the playoffs, drawing in for just three of 18 postseason contests as the Stars opted for a more veteran roster. At 23 years old, Bourque still has room to grow, and while that could be tough for him to do in Dallas, there's plenty of reason to be optimistic. For one, he shot 13.8 percent last year despite averaging 12:41 of ice time. That shows his skill, though his efficiency could drop if he's able to grow his shot volume, which was just over one per game. Bourque will need to find a way to at least get consistent third-line usage in 2025-26, and even then, he's more a sleeper option in fantasy than a must-draft player. Read Past Outlooks
Two goals in shootout win
Bourque scored twice on four shots in Thursday's 5-4 shootout win over the Golden Knights.
ANALYSIS
Bourque snapped a three-game dry spell. His goals came 5:30 apart during the middle of the second period, helping the Stars build a 4-1 lead by the end of that frame. He's now at 10 goals, 20 points, 91 shots on net, 35 hits and a minus-3 rating across 54 appearances this season. Bourque is one goal shy of matching his total from 73 regular-season outings last year.

2024 Fantasy Outlook
Bourque netted 26 goals and compiled a league-leading 77 points in 71 games for Texas last season en route to being named the AHL MVP. He made his NHL debut against Chicago on April 6 and suited up in one playoff contest versus Edmonton but didn't find the scoresheet. Dallas expects Bourque to graduate to the NHL in 2024-25, and he could land a middle-six role following Joe Pavelski's retirement. The 22-year-old Bourque could operate around the 45-point mark and surpass 160 shots on net during his first NHL campaign.
