In his first NHL campaign with the Islanders, Gatcomb registered eight goals, nine points and 149 hits across 39 appearances. The gritty forward re-upped with the Isles in the offseason, penning a one-year deal, and he’ll battle for a fourth-line role during training camp. Considering he likely won’t be a lineup fixture in 2025-26, he shouldn’t be on most fantasy managers’ radars. Furthermore, the 26-year-old had a 19.5 shooting percentage on just 41 shots on goal in 2024-25, and it’s improbable he will have that type of success again.
