2025 Fantasy Outlook
Graf was never drafted, but after excelling in the NCAA -- he had 43 goals and 108 points in 75 outings with Quinnipiac University between his sophomore and junior seasons -- he was given a three-year, entry-level contract with the Sharks in April of 2024. Since then, Graf has been a mixed bag. He’s excelled at the AHL level with eight goals and 35 points across 40 regular-season appearances with the Barracuda, but he’s been limited to five goals and 13 points in 40 career outings with the Sharks despite averaging a healthy 15:59 of ice time. Still just 22 years old (23 on Sept. 21), Graf has time left to develop, and he'll get a look during training camp as a middle-six option. He’s not a great forward to draft if you’re in a standard fantasy league, but he has enough upside to warrant keeping an eye on him. Read Past Outlooks
Generates pair of helpers
Graf logged two assists, two hits and a plus-2 rating in Saturday's 6-5 overtime win over the Penguins.
ANALYSIS
Graf had gone 11 games without a helper, though he had four goals in that span. The 23-year-old has gotten more looks in the top six recently, emerging as an all-situations forward on this young Sharks team. Graf is up to 15 points, 33 shots on net, 34 hits, 26 blocked shots and a plus-2 rating through 32 appearances. He's already surpassed the 11 points he had in 33 outings a year ago, and a season around the 30-point mark is in play if he stays healthy.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Might debut this weekend
Graf is likely to make his NHL debut either Saturday versus St. Louis or Sunday against Arizona, according to Sheng Peng of San Jose Hockey Now.
ANALYSIS
Graf had 22 goals and 49 points in 34 NCAA outings with Quinnipiac University in 2023-24. He signed a three-year, entry-level contract with San Jose on Thursday. It wouldn't be surprising to see Graf immediately slide into a top-six role with the Sharks.
