Petersen was reassigned to AHL Iowa on Thursday.

Petersen backed up Filip Gustavsson the last two games, as Jesper Wallstadt was out of action with an illness. Petersen was 4-13-0 with a 2,82 GAA and an .897 save percentage at the AHL level before his recall.
