2025 Fantasy Outlook
Hatton was the second-biggest name to jump ship from the PGA Tour to LIV Golf last season, and the Englishman ended up joining the other defector, Jon Rahm, on Legion XIII. Hatton’s brash and curse-riddled commentary could easily be picked up on the mics and by the fans, but nonetheless, he was one of the top performers of the LIV Golf League in 2024. He finished fourth in the individual season standings with 161.49 points, won LIV Golf Nashville in June and accrued points in all but one tournament (Greenbrier). Hatton did fairly well in the majors, with his ninth-place finish at The Masters being his best outings of the four (he finished T63 at the PGA Championship, T26 at the U.S. Open Championship and missed the cut at The Open). Hatton should be in the field for all four majors in 2025. Read Past Outlooks
Fades to T21 at LIV Golf UK
Hatton finished tied for 21st at LIV Golf UK after carding a one-under 70 final round.
ANALYSIS
Hatton found himself in early contention with a four-under 67 opening round, but he couldn't make any strides over the final two days of the tournament. It was a disappointing outing for Hatton on home soil, especially given his T16 performance at The Open one week earlier. Hatton has been one of the better LIV Golf players in the majors in 2025, but he hasn't been quite as good on the tour and has finished T15 or worse in three of the last four LIV tournaments. He's 23rd in the individual season standings with 52.15 points heading into LIV Golf Chicago, where he finished fourth in 2024.

It was another strong season for Tyrrell Hatton, but unfortunately he is still sitting on a lone PGA Tour win in 2020 at Bay Hill. Hatton only missed one cut in 21 starts in 2022-23 and finished top-six on seven occasions. The Englishman doesn't really have any weaknesses and shines on the greens, ranking top-10 in putting over the last two seasons. Hatton certainly has the upside to have a $10 million year, but he likely will need to visit the winner's circle a couple times to do so.
