2025 Fantasy Outlook
The 22-year-old Spaniard was the second-youngest member of the LIV Golf league in 2024, beaten only by 20-year-old Caleb Surratt of Legion XIII. The age didn’t seem to be a negative for Puig, however, as he managed to improve on his 2023 outing by finishing 26th in the LIV Golf individual season standings with 39.91 points, thanks in large part to his T3 finish in Houston. Puig received a special invitation to the PGA Championship and earned a spot at the U.S. Open Championship and The Open Championship, though he only managed to make the cut at the U.S. Open Championship (T55). Tied for 18th at LIV Golf UK
Puig fired a two-under 69 in the final round at LIV Golf UK to finish tied with Andy Ogletree and Charles Howell III for 18th.
ANALYSIS
Puig started out nicely with a three-under 68 opening round. Despite finishing the tournament T6 in birdies made (15), his hard work was outdone by nine bogeys, four of which came in each of the final two rounds. Puig got off to a hot start to the 2025 LIV Golf season with three top-6 finishes in the first four tournaments, but he has failed to finish T13 or better over his last six LIV outings. He sits 11th in the individual season standings with 68.60 points heading into LIV Golf Chicago, where he finished T20 in 2024 and 36th in 2023.
