In line to sign with Chicago
WRFree Agent
April 28, 2025
Richardson is in line to sign with the Bears as an undrafted free agent, Brad Biggs of The Chicago Tribune reports.
ANALYSIS
The wide receiver spent his final two collegiate seasons at TCU after transferring from Oklahoma State, finishing with 57 catches for 733 yards and two touchdowns in 2024. He also returned a punt 89 yards for a score and averaged 11.0 yards per punt return last year, ranking 10th in the nation. Richardson's added special-teams value should give him a better shot of competing for a spot on a Bears receiver depth chart headed by veteran DJ Moore, 2024 first-round pick Rome Odunze and 2025 second-round selection Luther Burden.

Good first week of camp
WRChicago Bears
July 26, 2025
Richardson put together three solid days of practice during the Bears' first week of training camp, Courtney Cronin of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Richardson hauled in some difficult passes in drills this past week, highlighted by a one-handed grab down the sidelines during Wednesday's practice. The TCU product signed with the Bears in late April as an undrafted free agent, but his special-teams experience in college gives him a path to make the 53-man roster at the end of training camp. Richardson logged 57 catches for 733 yards and two touchdowns during his final collegiate season in 2024.
