2025 Fantasy Outlook
Darrisaw could well miss part of the 2025 campaign while working his way back from ACL and MCL tears suffered Week 8 of 2024, but all by all accounts his recovery has proceeded well. Once he's fully healthy, Darrisaw will start at LT and operate as one of the leaders of a revamped, potentially top-5 offensive line. Read Past Outlooks

Darrisaw (knee) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Falcons, Kevin Seifert of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Although Darrisaw practiced in full Wednesday, he's now in line to miss his 12th consecutive regular-season game Sunday. The 2021 first-round pick from Virginia Tech is still working back from tearing his ACL and MCL in October of 2024, but his return appears close. Justin Skule is expected to continue starting at left tackle until Darrisaw can suit up again.

Darrisaw will again be responsible for protecting Kirk Cousins' blind side as the Vikings' starting left tackle.
The Vikings selected Darrisaw in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft, 23rd overall. Darrisaw's athleticism and his track record is impressive, having started 35 games during his time as a Hokie. Darrisaw should compete for a starting tackle job right away in Minnesota.

Extension seems likely
OTMinnesota Vikings
July 8, 2024
Darrisaw and the Vikings seem likely to agree to a contract extension, but it may not happen until next offseason, Alec Lewis of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
The left tackle will be playing on his rookie deal through 2025 after having his fifth-year option picked up in April, but both sides are interested in having Darrisaw remain in Minnesota for the long haul. The 23rd overall pick in the 2021 Draft also now has Drew Rosenhaus as his agent, and Rosenhaus has an excellent relationship with the Vikings' front office. With no incentive to get a deal done quickly, however, the team will likely make extending Darrisaw a priority after the 2024 campaign.
