The Jets elevated Cook from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday, Eric Allen of the team's official site reports.

Cook has been with the Jets since signing with the team as an undrafted free agent. He's been on the practice squad to begin the season, but will get a chance to back up Tyrod Taylor in Week 3 against the Buccaneers, as Justin Fields (concussion) is sidelined.
