Sagapolutele created lots of buzz for his Week 1 performance as a true freshman when he tossed for three touchdowns against Oregon State. He came back down to earth a little in Week 2, but once again lit it up with his arm in Week 3 against Minnesota. He tossed for three touchdowns again with solid efficiency (63.2 percent) especially for a true freshman. Cal has a favorable matchup next week against San Diego State as well, so the quarterback may be able to stack great performances.
